There’s so much to do in and around Worksop for all the family this Christmas period. We’ve compiled a list of all the great activities going on locally.

Breakfast with Elves
5th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd December, 9.30am and 11.00am
Breakfast will be held in the morning in the main café before story time with Father Christmas. While breakfast is served our resident elves with be helping to make special reindeer food to take away for the all-important day. Booking is required.
An adult breakfast is £7.95 with one free child breakfast per adult, and an additional cost of £3.00 per extra child

Father Christmas Story Time
8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd December, 10.00am to 3.30pm
Enjoy a magical story-time with Father Christmas in the Parsonage, where children will be read a Clumber Christmas story and be given a present in this traditional event. Children will also be able to write letters to Father Christmas and post them in our special post box; if they leave their details then they will get a response! Booking is required.
£8.00 per child, includes park admission charge, normal admission applies for adults

Meet Santa Paws
9th and 16th December, 9.00am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Dogs and their owners are welcome to meet Santa Paws and his helper at Central Bark in December to find out what their four-legged friend would like for Christmas and receive some treats. Booking not required.
£2.00 per dog, normal admission applies for everyone

Father Christmas Story Time: Toddler Sessions
12th and 19th,December, 10.00am to 12.30pm
Children aged five years old and under are invited with their family to enjoy this magical story-time session with Father Christmas, which includes a craft room prior to meeting the man himself. Booking is required.
£8.00 per child, includes park admission charge; normal admission applies for adults

Family Christmas Dog Walk
Saturday 22nd December, 11.30am to 12.45pm
Take your dog for a group walk around Clumber Park taking in the Christmas sights. Walk starts at 11.30am from Central Bark and will be approximately a one-hour circular walk. Prize for the best dog fancy dress on the day!
This is a free event, but normal park admission charges apply

Clumber Park Quest
Wednesday 26th December – Tuesday 8th January, 11.00am to 3.00pm daily
Join the quest around the pleasure grounds and let your imagination run wild.
This is a free event but normal park admission charges apply

Tinsel Trek
Thursday 27th December, 10.30am to 12.30pm
Blow away the cobwebs with a winter walk around Clumber this festive season. This is a two-hour walk (six to seven miles). Meet in the main car park at 10.00am.

Santa at Creswell Crags

Children will receive an age appropriate gift and get to meet the man himself before the big day!.

Pre-Christmas Chill
22nd and 23rd December, 10.00am to 4.30pm
This weekend will either get you into a (late!) Christmas Spirit, or help you relax before the big day! There will be live music, lantern making, a lantern parade, an illuminated meadow and a very special guest in Robin Hood’s Cave.

This Christmas, join The Young Theatre Company for the most mystical, magical pantomime you could wish for… Aladdin! Treat your pooch to a festive experience with a difference. Meet Santa Paws himself and each fur baby will receive a treat. No booking is needed.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 17th November until 23rd December, 11.00am to 4.00pm daily.
Visit Rufford Abbey Country Park’s Christmas Grotto to meet Santa and his helpers. Located in the Gallery.

Share some festive fun with your four-legged friends! Bring your besties to meet Santa Paws, enjoy a doggie treat and help raise funds for the wonderful Jerry Green Dog Rescue. Come along any time — no need to book.

Festive Forest Corner

The festive season is in full swing! Enjoy crafts, activities, talks and walks at the craft centre, new visitor centre and out in the forest. Create a decoration for Sherwood’s Christmas tree and enjoy a tasty treat in the cafe.
