Tie a Yellow Ribbon Event

On Sunday 18th July, from 10.00am to 2.00pm in the grounds of Barnby Moor Memorial Park and Crematorium, meet fundraisers from Bassetlaw Hospice, the chosen charity for Barnby Moor’s open day.
Bassetlaw Hospice have chosen to launch their Tie a Yellow Ribbon appeal at the event. Each ribbon can be personalised with a message to a loved one to celebrate their life and anyone in the community can then tie their ribbon to the hospice’s seated pergola, which has been generously supplied and erected by Anthony Carroll of Niche Landscapes Ltd. It can be found in the wildlife area of the grounds, a perfect place for moments of quiet reflection.
Debbie, the charity’s Community Fundraiser, said: “There will be refreshments on the day provided by our hosts as well as a photographer and an opportunity to look round the grounds. We are excited to be having this event and seeing members of the community. This will be our first face-to-face event since lockdown and we look forward to seeing you there.”
The hospice are asking for a donation of £2.00 for the ribbon, which can be purchased via their shops or from their office. They will also be available on the day. For more information, call 01777 710444 or email Debbie on Debbie@bassetlawhospice.org.
