A personal recommendation for The Musicality Singers.
“After years of singing along to all kinds of music, particularly in the car, and even when swimming (I’ve got a waterproof MP3 player, but still haven’t managed to master singing underwater), I decided it really was time I joined a choir.
“I’m not one for doing auditions! It was essential that I found a choir who would welcome me and help me progress with my singing.
“The Musicality Singers was a perfect fit for all my needs. I turned up for my first rehearsal and I chose to join the altos section. Much to my surprise, I found the parts too high for me, so I moved across to join the tenors. That was perfect and I also doubled the number of lady tenors!
“Our talented Musical Director, Greg Watson, makes rehearsals great fun and he also challenges the choir with his expectations and with the variety of music he arranges for us. Our Assistant Director Jennifer Demicheli, an accomplished pianist, prepares us for our mornings (I invite you to come along and find out for yourselves what we get up to). Greg and Jenny are a great double act!”
The choir’s wide-ranging repertoire covers music from New York’s Broadway, London’s West End, from Bowie, Queen and Sting. They also sing classic pop and choral numbers.
