Ryton Chorale

Summer Voices and Instruments on Saturday 13th July at 7.30pm in Retford Town Hall will round off the current season of Ryton Chorale concerts, and the first year directing the choir for Sierra Farquhar-Wulff.

The lighter programme will feature Elgar’s From The Bavarian Highlands, a collection of songs he wrote following a holiday in Upper Bavaria with his wife in 1894. It’s attractive, foot-tapping music! In contrast there will be English and European madrigals, some of them accompanied by the Retford u3a Recorder Ensemble.

These players are very accomplished and return by popular demand to be in concert with Ryton Chorale, with a new programme.

Tickets cost £11.00 in advance and £13.00 on the door and are available from choir members, 07908 224300 or sing@rytonchorale.org.uk.
