Royal British Legion Creswell Branch

The Creswell branch of the Royal British Legion has opened up a new touch point centre at Limestone House, Elmton Road, Creswell S80 4JE. It will be open on Wednesdays from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. Here, the branch can offer a range of advice and services to local veterans, serving personnel and their dependants. If you can’t get there you can call them on 0800 8028080 or go to www.britishlegion.org.uk. Some of the services they offer include financial support, employment support, rehabilitation for mental and physical health, hearing funds, independent living, handyman service, poppy breaks for struggling service/ex-service families, alcohol service and priority department. If you don’t need help, you might know of somebody that does.

You can also help the branch and join the Royal British Legion. Creswell branch have a meeting on the last Sunday of every month at the Old Comrades Club on Dover Street, Creswell S80 4EZ. Come along and share your ideas and enthusiasm and help us plan events like their Full Monty on 28th July at Creswell Social Centre.
