It is the start of a new year for Retford Inner Wheel Club, and they are delighted to welcome Judith Roberts as their President. The club extends many thanks to Carol for her very successful year, demonstrating friendship with service—both keystones of the organisation.
Thanks to their fundraising efforts during Carol’s tenure, the club was able to donate money to various local charities, including Riding for the Disabled, Papyrus, Bassetlaw Hospice, and the Teenage Cancer Trust, the last in memory of James, the grandson of one of their members.
Internationally, the club has supported NPAC and InterCare with donations of baby bundles, toy bags for children, and joy bags for mothers.
