Parkinson’s group

by | 31 January 2024 | Support Group, Worksop

The first meeting of the Bassetlaw branch of Parkinson’s UK in the new year saw a lively group bidding away in a fun auction. Despite the heavy rain, 45 members attended and three new members joined the group.

The Pilates classes, singing group, lunch club and indoor bowling are all up and running after the festive break. A full program of outings is also in the planning stage.

The next meeting on Tuesday 6th February will welcome Professor Roger Barker, who will talk about stem cell replacement therapy.

Meetings are held at Worksop Cricket Club, Central Avenue, S80 1EN at 2.00pm on the first Tuesday of every month. New members are assured of a warm welcome. The hand of friendship and support is offered to everyone with Parkinson’s disease, their friends and family.
