North Notts Ploughing Match committee are holding their autumn match on Sunday 15th September at Coates Farm, Cottam, courtesy of Mr Tim Highfield and Mr Will Irwin. The postcode is DN22 0HA and What 3 Words ///precluded.system.park, and the venue will be sign posted on the day.
Ploughing classes will include horses, modern and vintage tractors, with a commercial class in the afternoon. On-site catering by the committee is available using locally sourced products. New for this year is the photograph competition, and entry details can be found on Facebook and on the day from the posters displayed at the match.
Entry to the event is free but donations are gratefully received at the secretary’s caravan as they always try to donate to local charities, the last two recipients being Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance and Bassetlaw Hospice. Please follow the Facebook page for all up to date information.
