In this panto favourite, Jack and Dotty Trott don’t have a bean to their name, and now a giant’s terrifying the village! Can Jack rescue Jill, defeat the evil Fleshcreep and find his fortune before the giant gobbles him up for supper?
The Cheeky Chops gang have the answer, as they make a long-awaited return to the Queen Street venue following their sell-out panto Aladdin in 2020. Cheeky Chops Theatre produces and performs fun-packed shows for children of all ages in theatres and schools.
“We’re thrilled to finally be back on stage at The Acorn!”, says director Hayla Hawes. “Jack and The Beanstalk is the perfect show for youngsters as we squeeze all the panto fun into fast-paced, hour-long spectacular with songs, puppets, special effects and crazy characters!
“We have some brilliant twists to the traditional story, with non-stop music and laughter, a ballroom-dancing cow, and one spectacularly enormous beanstalk!”
