Les Francophiles de Tickhill’s new season opens on Wednesday 2nd October, with a return by Thierry Viennois who will be giving a talk entitled ‘Mandrin, Grenoble’s Robin Hood’ — the exploits of a highwayman and smuggler in the mid-18th century.
Meetings take place in the Parish Room, Tickhill, at 7.30pm, on the first Wednesday of the month. The annual subscription is £17.50. Non-members are charged at £4.00 per meeting but this is refundable if you decide to join. For more information call Jan Murray on 01302 611415.
