An all-weather shelter for the horses at New Ollerton Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Centre has been built.
During the recent wet cold winters and hot summers, the volunteers at the RDA centre, based at the Dukeries Complex in New Ollerton, have struggled to keep their horses outside as much as they would like.
These worries are now a thing of the past as a new weather shelter has been built straddling the two paddocks.
Funding for the materials was generously donated by Bassetlaw Freemasons and The Major Oak Ladies Pop Choir and the shelter was built by volunteers from the Dukeries Community Workshop — also based at the Dukeries Complex in New Ollerton.
