Ollerton WI have organised chocolate tombolas at summer events members have attended. These are always very successful, with not a piece of chocolate left. Well done to the ladies that donated chocolate and those that helped on the stall.
Some of the group’s members recently attended a WI summer lunch, which was a great success. It was attended by ladies from lots of other Wis, and it was a good get together to talk and see how other WIs do things. They were also entertained by wonderful singing.
Ollerton WI’s walking netball team is full steam ahead and their darts team is doing well too. Plus, their walking club is getting bigger.
At the group’s meeting in July they enjoyed a Wimbledon theme – many members dressed in white and they had strawberries and cream scones.
