Newark-based charity, Beaumond House Hospice Care, has launched a new lottery scheme to raise essential funds to provide supportive palliative care to the people of Newark and Sherwood.
In partnership with Your Charity Lottery, Beaumond House is offering supporters the chance to win up to £10,000 through a weekly draw.
For just £1.00 a week per game number, supporters could win one of 82 cash prizes available every Friday, including a first prize of £1,000, 80 prizes of £10.00, and a rollover prize ranging from £200 to £10,000.
Matt Colbourne, Fundraising Manager at Beaumond House Hospice Care, said: “We’re very excited to be offering this new fundraising initiative, which will not only support the charity financially but also give something back to our supporters.
“Fundraising is vital to the survival of Beaumond House and can be quite challenging—it costs around £2.2 million this financial year for us to deliver our services and, as hospice care isn’t fully funded by the NHS, around £1.6million of this must be raised.
“The new lottery will provide a long-term, fun way to raise invaluable funds, while also giving our wonderful supporters the chance to become jackpot prize winners.”
Supporters can now sign up to the lottery scheme. To sign up, visit www.yourcharitylottery.org.uk, call the Your Charity Lottery office on 0300 330 1500, or request a leaflet from Beaumond House Hospice Care.
Founded in Hull to help a local hospice raise funds, Your Charity Lottery enables organisations to fundraise without the costs of running their own lottery. While ensuring every draw is legal and compliant and that all data is secure, Your Charity Lottery manages player queries, distributes winners’ prizes, and produces promotional materials, making it as easy as possible for organisations like Beaumond House Hospice Care to run lotteries for fundraising.
