Greenwood Riding for the Disabled has welcomed a new horse to the team. They had been searching for a long time for the right horse, then he turned up locally.
Humble Pye (known as Pye for short) is a piebald gelding aged 11. He will be able to carry growing riders. They had a few problems at first in convincing him that Eastfield Farm was his new home. Perhaps he was overwhelmed by being the only man amongst the ladies. But Pye is now settling in well and making friends.
They are all volunteers at Greenwood RDA, providing an essential service locally for vulnerable children, and they welcome new recruits. Can they tempt you to get involved?
