There was a fantastic turn out for the 29th Annual Hamper Run of Ollerton and Boughton, with 72 bikes at the starting point of the White Post pub on A614 – where Paul and team put on a great spread!
Riders then rode round Ollerton Tesco car park where they were greatly received by staff members and the public. They then moved onto the Boughton Social Club, where they cheered on by a lovely group of locals – including the bikers that turned up not only in their leathers but also in all the Santa finery!
The stage area of the Social Club was filled with food donations from the bikers. All the donations were greatly appreciated from Liz and her team at Life Spring Church, who will put the donations to good use in the community.
Thanks go to Tesco, Boughton Social Club, Morrisons and Life Publications for their donations, and to James McGinley Tyre Shop who sponsored the Hamper Run – and to everyone who donated so generously.
A further £350 was raised on a mammoth raffle, and money was donated to and gratefully received by the Air Ambulance.
The riders will see you all next year at the 30th Annual Hamper Run!
