If you’re a fan of the Bake Off or someone who loves baking – this is the opportunity for you!
Winthrop Gardens in Wickersley will be holding its Annual Bake Off and Open Day on Saturday 20th April, 11.00am to 4.00pm.
With classes for under-14s and over-14s, you are invited to enter one of the following categories:
- Cakes
- Cupcakes and Buns
- Scones and Biscuits
- Preserves – Jams, Marmalades, Pickles or Chutneys
It’s free to enter – just pick up an entry form at Winthrop and apply as soon as you can, then drop your cake or other entry off on either Friday 19th April between 3.00pm and 6.00pm or on Saturday 20th April between 8.00am and 9.00am.
Prizes: £5.00 voucher to spend at Winthrop and a copy of their Platinum Jubilee Recipe Book.
And the Café will be open with plant sales, ‘Curiosity Corner’, tombola, crafts, preserves, books and jigsaws.
