With the traditional brass band music of Christmas tidied away for another year, they are practising a variety of new pieces ready for their first concert at the Wesley Centre in Maltby on 11th May.
They’re always happy to welcome new members to the band, whatever your age, experience and ability. If you, your child or your grandparent fancies a go on a brass or percussion instrument, get in touch on their Facebook page (Maltby Miners Welfare Training Band) or email training@maltbyband.org.uk. They provide instrument hire, tuition and music all for free!
