Maltby Miners Welfare Band and the Training Band are out and about this summer, whatever the weather! They have already been to the National Mining Museum in Wakefield (very wet) and St Bart’s Church in Maltby (warm and dry inside).
July events included Manor School Maltby, Summer Fair, Whiston Festival, St James’ Church, Braithwell and Maltby Cenotaph Centenary.
Hopefully August will bring some drier and warmer weather for players and audiences at Maltby Summer Fair on 3rd August at the Sports Ground, and the group’s annual visit to Scaftworth Regatta on Monday 26th August.
