Braithwell Church and Country Fair took place on Saturday 8th June. Although the sun was hiding from the rain, the event was a shining example of true British spirit. The not-so-kind weather, whilst challenging, pulled everyone together and gave a clear demonstration of people’s kindness, support and devotion.
The organisers would like to thank everyone who attended, helped and contributed. Without all of these combined efforts this loved traditional and much looked-forward-to event, enjoyed by locals and visitors from far further afield, would simply be unable to continue. Over £2,630 was raised. The grand draw prizes have all been claimed.
The date has already been set for the 2020 Fair, which will take place on Saturday 6th June.
