If so, Hive is a South Yorkshire wide young writers’ network running groups, festivals, projects and competitions supporting young people in the region to enjoy and follow their writing interests, be it casual hobby or career dream. read more

Tickhill Music Society

Tickhill Music Society

Following a recent committee meeting, a decision was taken to cancel Tickhill Music Society’s first concert of the new season in September. They hope very much to start their season of concerts in October, with a recital to be given in St Mary’s School by the Latvian pianist Antonina Suhanova. This will, of course, only occur within Government guidelines. Rest assured that all precautions will be taken to make the society’s concerts as safe as possible. Members will be kept informed of progress.

Community working together on Rainbow Roundabout to say thank you

The remainder of Les Francophiles de Tickhill’s 2019/20 programme has been cancelled. The 2020/21 programme will hopefully start on Wednesday 7th October, government guidelines allowing. Members will be contacted by email nearer the date.

St Barthomew's Church, Maltby

March, April, May and June have been super quiet months at St Bartholomew’s Church, Maltby. The church building has been closed with no services, weddings, funerals or baptisms. Members of the congregation have been trying to keep in touch with everyone by phone and email, helping when they can. Lockdown has led to a lot of loneliness!
