Ravenfield Ponds continues to be one of the most popular and beautiful places to fish in Rotherham.
The park is situated at the bottom of Garden Lane, Old Ravenfield and is a haven for anglers, walkers and wildlife.
During August the ‘Traditional Anglers’ took on the ‘Matchmen’ in a regular fun event. It’s a chance to see wooden rods and ancient reels take on modern carbon tackle. It has thrown up some surprising results in the past!
