The Worksop Music Festival takes place every March, culminating in an Award Ceremony and Prize Winners’ Concert, which showcases some of the best performances from all sections.
Originally known as the North Notts Music Competitions, the festival was founded in 1904 “for the continuation of good music and brightening of village life”. It originally served the area of North Nottinghamshire known as The Dukeries and continues to attract entrants from across the region, including Sheffield, Doncaster, Nottingham, Lincolnshire, and Derbyshire.
The 2025 festival will be held in two two-day blocks: Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March, then Friday 14th and Saturday 15th March.
The Celebration of Music Concert will take place on Friday 25th April at 7.00pm at The Crossing, Worksop.
Everyone is welcome to go and enjoy a morning, afternoon, evening, or full day of music.
