In October there will be a display of art at the Walks of Life Museum, 33 Lincoln Road, Tuxford NG22 0HR. Contributions for display are welcome.
There is also a children’s art competition. Both the Museum of the Horse and the Walks of Life Museum would like you send your pictures from either museum. Entries will be on display until Christmas and there will be a prize draw for anyone who enters if you include your contact details (names can be kept confidential if you wish).
Saturday 1st October sees a display of inspirational older people in celebration of International Day for Older Persons. Celebrate the inspirational elderly, share your memories and enjoy light refreshments. The Museum especially would like any Tuxford Co-op staff to go along as many residents of Tuxford have enjoyed being served by you.
On Saturday 15th October there is an Austin 7 car meet up at 10.00am. Go along and see these magnificent vehicles and their owners celebrating 100 years of the Austin 7.
During the half term holiday, go along on Thursday 27th or Saturday 29th October to have a go at art at the museum.
