With a membership of nearly 500, Retford Little Theatre (RLT) is regaining its strong following from before the pandemic lockdowns, and local theatre-goers have already enjoyed two great nights out so far this season. Depending on when you read this, there may still be time to catch the latest show, Ladies’ Day: an exuberant comedy about four likely lasses from the Hull fish docks on a day trip to the races. If their luck holds, they could hit the jackpot – in more ways than one! It runs until 4th February with tickets available on the door.
Like so many organisations, RLT finds itself having to rebuild in some ways. Audiences are returning because we all feel we need some light relief in this world – but there are always seats for more! And there are always opportunities to join the action – backstage, in the technical department, front of house and, of course, on stage! A theatre cannot exist without actors; RLT would love to hear from you if you fancy having a go. Email boxoffice@rlt.org.uk or leave a message on 01777 702002.
This wonderful, friendly amateur theatre has been entertaining the people of Retford and district for over 80 years. Please help them to keep live theatre alive in our town!
