Retford late night shopping

by | 30 November 2021 | Business, Community Event, Retford

Thursday 9th December until 8.00pm

Retford town centre businesses are to stay open until 8.00pm on Thursday 9th December, with entertainment from stilt-walking Christmas elves ‘Elf and Safety’ and ‘The Snow Queen’.

Retford Business Forum (RBF) is delighted to be working with businesses in the town centre to provide a fantastic opportunity for people from all around Bassetlaw, North Nottinghamshire, and beyond, to come to Retford for their Christmas Shopping.
There will be businesses open throughout the town centre – in the Bridgegate and Cannon Square, Market Square and North Carolgate, and Mid-South Carolgate areas. A variety of shops, cafes, entertainment, and more, will be open and looking forward to welcoming visitors.

Why not spend the day and stay for the evening? Retford Market will be open in the daytime, and the town’s great hospitality venues will supply a range of refreshments throughout the day. Or, come into Retford at 2.00pm, and take advantage of the Christmas free parking offer in the Bassetlaw District Council car parks at that time, and stay until 8.00pm.
Retford Business Forum wishes all of the businesses in Retford Town Centre a highly successful Christmas trading period, and all of their visitors and customers a very, very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

The Forum is grateful for the support it is receiving from Bassetlaw District Council (BDC) to enable it to promote this exciting event. Businesses wishing to register interest please contact chair@retfordbusinessforum.org.uk.
