Retford Hub is proud to promote the work of local artists and to support local businesses. This season they are showcasing the emerging talent of Joe Fullwood in the ‘Lend a Hand’ photography exhibition.
Joe explores the theme of hands, juxtaposing local backdrops with smoke, light and nature from the Retford area to inspire images of helping others. Joe has created an engaging collection of photographs in both colour and black and white which are not only thought provoking but also celebrates the northern spirit to help others.
Studying at Retford Post 16 Centre, Joe is a member of Retford and District Photographic Society. He is planning a trip to Ecuador where he will be volunteering in local communities and travelling to the Galapagos Islands, where he will have an amazing opportunity to further his love of nature photography.
The ‘Lend a Hand’ exhibition’s opening night is 2nd March at 7.00pm in the Hub gallery at 11 Churchgate, Retford DN22 6PA and continues until 31st March, open from Monday to Saturday, 10.00am to 4.00pm. Joe has produced a range of cards to complement his works which will be for sale in the Hub shop.
