Retford Charter Day will return on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May, when the town will get together to celebrate the signing of the Charter which allowed Retford to become a thriving market town.
The park will play host to a variety of stalls and displays, including the Crazy K9 Fun Dog Show and Martial Arts demonstrations courtesy of Mudo Academy, while the arena will have entertainment to suit all ages.
You can also try your hand at Crown Green Bowls, and the coaches from Retford Tennis Club will be on hand to give children a taster tennis session.
The Market Square will have funfair rides and games, and for the car enthusiasts a walk down Grove Street is a must.
The Town Hall will be showcasing local talent with dance, music and theatre groups performing in the Ballroom, while downstairs will be the home of the Craft Fair and refreshments.
Last but not least, a welcome return of the Lions Duck race.
