Retford Arts Hub

by | 12 December 2024 | Art, Community facility, Hobbies, Retford

What does December mean to you? Cold, dark evenings? Wet, dreary days? The rush of gift shopping? Or perhaps choosing cards to send to distant family and friends?

Retford Arts Hub can help with the last three! The creative works of around 100 local artists, from Retford and nearby villages, are showcased on the walls and shelves of this welcoming space.

The shop is warm and inviting, complete with a café serving hot drinks, mince pies, toast, and tea cakes. The Christmas Fayre is in full swing on the first floor, offering a chance to browse unique, locally handcrafted gifts and cards.

The friendly, helpful volunteers at Retford Arts Hub come from all walks of life, supporting their community while making new friends and learning skills along the way. New volunteers are always welcome, so if you’d like to join the team in 2025, pop in for a chat to find out more.

The volunteers would like to thank customers, past and present, for supporting the Community Interest Company, as well as local artists and crafters. They wish everyone a warm, peaceful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

For further information on the Hub’s offerings, including a variety of workshops for adults and children, visit at 11 Churchgate, Retford.
