Comedian Justin Moorhouse is coming to Retford as part of his ‘Stretch and Think’ national tour.
Justin will be performing on Saturday 15th October at St Saviour’s Community Centre in Retford, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Pies are served promptly, with the show then beginning at 7.30pm.
Chortle’s review of Justin: “Lightning fast wit, easy-going banter, an innate understanding of how to read a room… unfailingly jovial, masterful delivery, consistently bright and silly.”
This is your chance to see one of the country’s top comedians – and have food as well. There will be non-alcoholic bar but feel free to bring your own drinks of choice.
Tickets cost £15.00 for the show only, or £20.00 to include pie, peas and a soft drink. Tickets are available from More Than Flowers, Wonderland Bookshop and online via Justin’s website.
This will be followed on Saturday 29th October by an evening with Suzan Holder and Brooks Williams.
Suzan Holder (wife of Slade’s Noddy) returns to Pies, Peas and Performances to launch her new book ‘Rock ’n’ Rose’ – where “a ticket to Memphis could be the start of a whole new life”. Suzan will talk about her book, the stories behind it and answer questions too. She may even mention Mr Holder. Don’t miss out. Books will be available to buy and be signed on the night.
Music will be provided by one of Pies and Peas’ favourite performers, Brooks Williams – country, blues and rock and roll
