As memories of Christmas and the choir’s Feast of Christmas Music concert fade, the North Notts Chamber Choir turns its attention to the Spring Concert, set for Sunday 23rd March. The programme will include The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace by Karl Jenkins and Haydn’s Mass in Time of War, among other pieces.
The choir is keen to welcome new members – male and female, young and old. To this end, an Open Evening will be held in January, offering anyone interested in learning more about the choir, its members, and the music they perform, the opportunity to meet current members and experience an evening of singing and socialising.
The choir performs three concerts a year, with rehearsals taking place every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm during term time at Worksop College.
If you are considering joining, why not attend the Open Evening on Tuesday 14th January? The event starts at 7.30pm in the Mountgarret Recital Room, Worksop College, Cuthberts Avenue, S80 3AP, and will include a drink and buffet. All attendees will receive a warm welcome.
