Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Retford were delighted to be taking part in this year’s magical St Swithun’s Christmas Tree Festival. The church was illuminated by over 70 trees decorated by local organisations and businesses.
Under the direction of Jan Davis, the Club celebrated the charities it has supported through the past year by decorating its tree with their emblems; amongst them there were rainbows for the NHS and the robin on the fork for Muddy Fork. Inner Wheel has also supported the Food Bank, Air Ambulance and Breast Cancer Research, as well as overseas projects.
Other activities over the festive season include Retford’s Christmas Market and the Christmas Fayre at Ranskill. Now the Club is looking forward to a busy 2022!
