Transforming their village hall into gnomie winter wonderland for their annual autumn charity fair, Elkesley Craft Group organised a morning of fun-filled family festivities.
As ever, there was an impressive variety of high quality crafts, a wide selection of homemade cakes and the opportunity for children (and some creative adults) to make their own gnomie gardens to decorate their Christmas tables.
The morning proved highly successful across the ages, with a lively festive atmosphere throughout and much needed funds raised for St Giles School, Retford.
Recently, representatives from Elkesley Crafters met with parents and students from St Giles at their Xavier Cafe where they were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £500 towards a special trampoline.
The crafters would like to thank all those who contributed to the morning’s success and are pleased to be able to invite people to their next charity fair, which will have an Easter theme and will be held in Elkesley Village Hall from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday 18th March. All are welcome.
