Clarborough Church is hosting an Easter Fun Afternoon and Egg Hunt on Sunday 1st April, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. The church’s first Easter Fun Afternoon last year was a huge success, with lots of children (and adults) enjoying all the activities!
This year there will be plenty of games — splat the rat, egg rolling, a music game, and much more, plus crafting activities. There’ll be a chance to decorate some Easter biscuits….and take the biscuits home to eat! Weave your own ‘nest’ ready to fill with a chocolate egg or try your hand at planting sunflowers. Of course, the main event will be the Egg Hunt, where children will be able to answer questions, which will lead them to find egg shaped tokens and claim their Easter Egg.
A competition will also be running, bring along to church a disposable plastic cup filled with as many items as you possibly can. Cups need to be filled level with the top, not heaped, and there will be a prize for the cup with the most items inside. Doesn’t matter what the items are, it can be absolutely anything!
This will be the ideal event to bring your children or grandchildren to on Easter Sunday. It is free entry, refreshments will be available and it is open to all, no need to live in Clarborough. Come along and join in the fun in church.
