A Musical Journey from Plainsong to Proms is the title of the next concert given by The Cantante Choir, under the direction of David Bird, accompanied by Stephen Carey at the organ. It will be a journey through the stages of music development, ending with communal singing of the Last Night of the Proms, at Askham Parish Church (NG22 0RS), on Friday 6th September, at 7.30pm. Admission is £8.00 including refreshment, with proceeds going towards improvement of facilities in the church.
