This time of year is the perfect opportunity to detox from electronic devices and let your creative side flourish. At Cath Ray Gallery and Studios, Retford, this month you can find plenty of workshops and activities to restore the balance.
Lou’s Colourful Crafts will give you the opportunity to be creative and productive and meet new friends in the process at Louise’s ‘Kit, Craft and Cake’ sessions. You will be provided with all the materials needed to make either four greetings cards or a double page scrapbook layout and full instructions and guidance will be given throughout. These are always enjoyable sessions and the added bonus of cake should make it a lovely evening out. These sessions will run one Wednesday evening per month (26th February, 7.00pm to 9.00pm, £10.00 per person) and will be something to look forward to on your calendar.

Femke Williams will also be returning to host ‘Meditate and Paint’ on Sunday 2nd March, 1.00pm to 4.00pm. This popular session will see participants guided by Femke in meditation, guided visualisation, short writing exercises, and you will be given the tools to unblock stagnant energy. The day will culminate in a painting on canvas, which will be yours to keep and take home at the end of the day.
