Some people are surprised that we should still be singing Christmas Carols after Christmas, but that is really the time when we should be singing them.
There are twelve days of the Christmas season, as is emphasised in the well-known carol The Twelve Days of Christmas. So, the Cantate Choir are continuing their tradition of marking the end of the Christmas season with a concert of carols of all styles for choir and audience, followed by refreshments with wine and juice.
This will be held at St Saviour’s Church, Welham Road, Retford DN22 6TN on Sunday 5th January at 7.00pm. Go and join the celebration! This will be your last chance to sing carols until next December.
