Hospice Fundraising Coordinator Debbie Rawlings said: “We’re really looking forward to returning to The Well, where we held our Christmas Fayre and which was which was a huge success.”

So put on your Easter bonnet, support the charity and help raise vital funds.

Are you up for a challenge?

Bassetlaw Hospice is looking for adventurous members of the community to join their team on Sunday 1st October to take on the Yorkshire High and Low Challenge, helping to raise vital funds for the Hospice.
This one-day challenge involves climbing to the top of Ingleborough – the second highest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales. Standing high in the clouds at 723m (2372ft) the route will take in Ingleborough cave and the awesome Gaping Gill. It also contains many hidden and wonderful secrets… underground!

After climbing to the summit, the group will descend via The Long Churn Caves with sparkling stream ways, waterfalls and many formations.

There are 20 places available on this challenge event and you’ll need to be reasonably fit to take part as it’s a climb not a walk. Transport is provided and experienced guides will be with the team every step of the way.

If you’d like to take part go to www.bassetlawhospice.org/fundraising and register your interest.

There is a registration fee once your place has been confirmed and a commitment to raise £250 sponsorship for the charity.

The combination of ascending to the top and descending through the cave gives this day the ultimate challenge experience!
