The Dukeries Singers summer season comes to an end

The Dukeries Singers

As summer is in mid-stride, The Dukeries Singers is finishing its summer season of singing with its last two concerts. The choir is looking forward to performing a concert at Weston Church on Saturday 7th July at 7.30pm. This is a new venue for the choir and a good repertoire of music is planned, with something to please everyone. read more

Clarborough welcomes the Celebration Choir

July promises to be a very special month for Clarborough Church. Firstly, as part of Open Churches weekend, on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July, the beautiful old building will be open for visitors, and volunteers, with tea, coffee and biscuits will be served too. It’ll be well worth calling in, having a look around, and seeing how the building has been brought into the 21st century whilst still maintaining its 12th century origins. read more

Clayworth Open Churches Weekend

St Peter's Church, Clayworth

For open churches weekend, St Peters Church Clayworth and Wiseton, present a concert on Saturday 7th July at 7.00pm. This will be classic music through the ages led by St Peters’ organist Fiona Law. Laxton Open Churches Weekend

St Michael the Archangel, Laxton, will be inviting the public to visit during Open Churches Weekend, on 7th and 8th July. The church will host a Wedding Fair on Saturday 7th July from 10.30am to 5.30pm. There will be displays of wedding dresses, flowers, cakes, photos and music playing. Tea, coffee and cakes will be served all day. read more

The Benson Mellors Memorial Cup 2018

The Benson Mellors Memorial Cup 2018 charity clay pigeon shoot will take place on Saturday 7th July at The Brick Yard, Gamston Woods, DN22 0RB. Featuring 50 Bird Sporting, 10 Bird Down the Line and Pool shoot events, there will be prizes for both the gents and the ladies, come along and have a go! First entries are at 12.00pm, and last entries are 5.00pm. read more

YMCA Adventure Guides is all about strengthening bonds between parents and their children. Families plan their own shared adventures and experiences in tightly-knit groups called ‘circles’.
