It’s been a very quiet year for the volunteers of Milton Mausoleum due to the COVID-19 restrictions. However, the building was open for the month of September, the last month of their season. They were pleased to meet visitors on each Sunday in September and have made some good contacts.
However, they are not able to hold their final event of this year, the popular annual Christmas concert. This is so disappointing for volunteers and supporters alike, as they see it as their introduction to the Christmas season and it is always a joyous occasion.
They are looking forward to 2021, as they have lots of plans for their new season. Here are some of them, Covid situation permitting them to go ahead:
- Sunday 25th April 2021: Sunday Lunch at the West Retford Hotel
- Saturday 26th June 2021: Summer Concert
- From May to September: Open Days, first Sunday in the month, light refreshments for sale
- From May to September they will have new facilities available – watch this space!
