All are invited to take part in the World Day of Prayer service to be held at the United Reformed Church, Gladstone Street, Gainsborough on Friday 1st March at 11.00am. Prepared by the women of the Slovenian World Day of Prayer committee, the service is entitled ‘Come — Everything is Ready’. The invitation is for everyone — men, women and children of all ages are invited to join this Day of Prayer. It is an international, inter-church organisation which enables everyone to hear the thoughts of women from all parts of their world: their hopes, concerns and prayers.
Following the service there will be a simple lunch with homemade soup. The organisers ask for a small donation which will be sent to Christian Aid.
