Town Hall Live (THL) in Kirton has just one concert in July, followed by two concerts in August.
Friday 12th July
Lachlan Bryan
Lachlan is a master songwriter from Melbourne who writes some of the most insightful, poignant, and heartfelt songs out there. You can pin a multitude of labels on his music and not be far off the mark – rock’n’roll, folk, alternative country, or any other contemporary roots cliché will not be far off the mark. His eclectic, literate songs and live shows have gained him a loyal fanbase in both Australia and the UK over the last decade.
Lachlan will be accompanied by Emily Lawler on violin and vocals. His Town Hall Live appearance is a rare opportunity to see him in a solo / duo setting, as he normally plays with his band The Wildes. Tickets cost £15.00.

Riley Catherall and Emily Lawler
Riley is also from Melbourne and is one of Australia’s most promising songwriters. His songs are beautifully constructed and immaculately delivered. In July he will release his second album The Light, The Beautiful Liar.
Sharing the bill will be Emily, from York. She is one of the country’s finest violinists, but during the Covid lockdown she started to write songs and picked up a guitar and taught herself to play. Soon after she was confident enough to play solo shoes. Last year she played several UK concerts with Riley, and together they went down a storm.

Julian Taylor
Julian, from Toronto, has been part of the musical fabric and landscape of Canada for over two decades. It was only in 2020, however, that his solo career began to take off with the release of his album The Ridge. It was followed two years later by Beyond the Reservoir.
Julian’s songs are lyrically and sonically rich; they feel like a balm for these jarring times. His profile in the UK skyrocketed last year when he played in front of thousands at last year’s Cambridge Folk Festival with his all-girl UK band. Soon after they played Town Hall Live in what was the ‘Concert of the Year’.
THL is delighted to welcome them back to Kirton. Tickets for this concert are priced at £17.00.
