The Kirton in Lindsey Society’s season of activities continues with two events in September.
As part of the national Heritage Open Days, the Society will be hosting two free guided walks titled Down Greedy Gut and Up Red Lion Passage. Both walks start at 2.00pm on Wednesday 11th and Saturday 14th September respectively. Booking is required.
On Tuesday 24th September, the new season of talks begins with the Society’s AGM, followed by ‘The Duckerings – A Cricket Dynasty and Pig Breeders Extraordinaire!’, a story told by a descendant of this important Kirton family, John Purcell.
