The Gainsborough Rotary Club is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of its Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday 2nd November at The Venue at Roses, North Warren Road, DN21 2TU.
Following the unfortunate cancellation of the 2023 event due to extreme weather, this year’s display is set to be bigger, brighter, and more spectacular than ever!
After a year’s break, the Rotary Club has worked tirelessly to ensure that 2024 will deliver an unforgettable evening. The new venue allows for an even more impressive display, with ample space for everyone to enjoy the festivities safely and comfortably.
Event highlights
- Gates open at 5.00pm: Enjoy a wide range of entertainment before the fireworks.
- Fireworks display at approximately 7.45pm: Prepare for a dazzling array of colours and effects.
- Event closes at 8.00pm: Stay on to enjoy the amenities at The Venue.
Food, drink and shopping
Visitors can indulge in a variety of food and drink stalls, including wood-fired pizzas, loaded fries, crepes, and doughnuts. The Venue will also serve hot and cold drinks, burgers, and hotdogs. Local trade and craft stalls will offer a range of goods, ideal for getting a head start on Christmas shopping. A fully licensed bar will remain open throughout and after the event. There will also be children’s entertainment and classic fairground rides to keep younger guests entertained.
A community event with a cause
The Fireworks Extravaganza is not just a fun night out – it’s also a fundraiser for the Gainsborough Rotary Club. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting local charities and community projects, making this a night that brings the community together for a great cause.
Tickets and entry
Tickets are available in advance or at the gate at a cost of £7.00 for adults (16+), £5.00 for children (under 16), and free entry for under-5s. Due to expected high demand, the Rotary Club encourages purchasing tickets early.
