Have you been to the Sturton and Stow Annual Show before? If you haven’t, you have missed a treat. The first Show was held in 1887 and it is still going strong.
Go along to the 135th annual show on Saturday 7th October from 1.30pm at Sturton by Stow School, School Lane, Sturton by Stow LN1 2BY.
Most classes are open to everyone, not just local residents, and whether you are a gardener, a baker, a wine maker, a painter, a jam maker, good at sewing or craftwork and making things or an aspiring photographer, there will be a class for you to enter. In addition, there will be a classic car display, tractors, engines and local stalls and displays. The Youth Club provides refreshments on the day including their very popular bacon rolls!
If you would like to enter the show, there is an entry night held in Sturton Village Hall on Wednesday 4th October between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. You can submit your entry form with members of the committee on hand to answer any questions you may have. Alternatively, this can be done via email with all forms and a copy of the schedule is available on www.sturtonandstowshow.com.
