The Gainsborough branch of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust are holding an outdoor meeting to be led by Matt Cox, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust conservation officer at The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Reserve of Scotton Common.
Scotton Common is the largest remaining fragment of the once very extensive heathland. The heathers should be in full bloom, there are many other different plants and possibly attendees may see a number of different animals whilst there.

The meeting is on Saturday 3rd August at 10.00am, lasting approximately between one to two hours. The nearest postcode reference is DN21 3PY, the OS map reference is SK873985.

Please note that there are no facilities at Scotton Common, the ground may be uneven, so wearing suitable footwear is a must. Further details will be sent out nearer the time.
