There was a very good turnout for the December coffee morning. There were so many prizes for the Christmas raffle and £34.00 was donated to Dementia UK. Thank you to all who bought tickets. It was lovely to see some new faces alongside the regulars!
Thank you to Stuart from Willow Craft who helped to make the hall look even more festive and to Owlin Mad. Also, thank you to Susie who donated a beautiful wreath for the door from her wreath making class.
The next coffee mornings at Lea Village Hall are on Friday 3rd January and then Friday 7th February. Half the proceeds from the January raffle will be donated to Prostate Cancer Research. Please join them at the Village Hall for a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious slice of homemade cake or tasty savoury option. The coffee morning will run from 10.30am to 12.00pm and costs only £2.50 per person. Everyone is welcome.
