The Kirton in Lindsey Society season of talks continues Tuesday 25th October.
The title this time is ‘River Witham and its Navigation’ – a trip along Lincolnshire’s main river with Rob Wheeler. He will take members on a trip back in time to find how the river became an important waterway.
The November meeting will be Christmas Ghost Stories. There is a long tradition of ghost stories being recounted at Christmastime. Now is your chance to have your spine tingled! To help ease the shivers Mike Wabe also gives some heart-warming stories of Christmas.
All meetings start at 7.30pm in the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, High Street, Kirton in Lindsey DN21 4LZ. Entrance fee is normally £1.00 including refreshments for members and £3.00 for non-members, except for special meetings.
