Instead of their Annual Show, at the beginning of September Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) held a small exhibition in the Town Hall, when entrants booked a table and put on a display of their gardening and horticultural produce. The public attending was asked to vote for the best table display. The winning table was by Pat Frankish, with Martin Hollingsworth and Pam Clark in second and third place. It was, in fact, very close with four tables all getting the same number of votes. As a result, the club’s president, David Tattersall, had to judge and select the winners.
The KLAGs 2021 season of meetings continues Wednesday 20th October at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey. It will be an illustrated talk about ‘The World of Ferns’, given by Neil Timms.
The November meeting is the club’s AGM plus a speaker yet to be confirmed.
They invite you to go along and join them as they are a friendly bunch. All are welcome, whether you just enjoy going out to talks or are experienced gardeners. You can follow them on Facebook at KLAGs (Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners).
