Nikky Smedley takes her audience on a whirlwind tour through music, dance, the early days of alternative comedy, the rough end of 80s London and the fun of 90s Teletubbyland, at Ordsall Parish Hall on Friday 12th May at 7.30pm.
Her show is created by herself and Ashley Brown. Nikky has lived through it all and creates her show and her brutally honest stories based on her personal experiences – such as her time as LaaLaa in Tellytubbies. Where Wikipedia is shared knowledge, Nikipedia is shared histories, shared with her audience.
She leads her one-woman crusade to connect us through her stories both extraordinary, risqué and every day. Suitable for grown-ups only, Confessions is a mix of theatre, stand-up and stories down the pub.
The audience is invited to choose what stories they hear and, if they would like, to add some of their own.
The show is supported by the Arts Council, local councils and is a Live & Local show.
