East Midlands Charity Awards
The Centre Place in Worksop were nominated and shortlisted for an award under the ‘Small Charity, Big Impact’ category via East Midlands Charity Awards in March 2020. In June 2020 they attended the virtual celebration event and were honoured to receive a Highly Commended award.
National Diversity Awards
LGBT+ Service Nottinghamshire are delighted and proud to have been nominated and shortlisted for the 2020 Community Organisation Award for LGBT in the National Diversity Awards. To be shortlisted from over 60,000 nominations and votes is a tremendous achievement. The ceremony will be held in February 2021, where a representative from the organisation will be in attendance.
Helen Azar, Director of The Centre Place was also nominated for the National Diversity Awards’ lifetime achiever award, which is an amazing achievement.
